LITELOK X1 is armoured with Barronium®, a patent pending composite material that resists angle grinder attack by turning the grinder's energy and force in on itself.
Barronium® is permanently fused to a hardened fine-grain high-tensile steel core which provides Motorcycle Diamond levels of protection against all other commonly used tools such as bolt croppers, cable cutters, long bars, hammers and chisels.
LITELOK X1 offers at least double the performance of the most heavy-duty chains yet weighs only 1.7kg and is easily carried in a rucksack, stored in your panniers or strapped to your rack. It also offers at least 5 times more angle grinder resistance than the best-selling, best-performing D-locks.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can X1 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X1 is at least 5 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading U-lock as well as needing multiple discs to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X1 weigh?
LITELOK X1 weighs approximately 1.7kgs or 3.7lbs.
What's the difference between X1 Bike and X1 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X1 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 and X3?
LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium® that each lock features. X3 uses a higher amount of Barronium® meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1. X1 has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling U-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X1?
LITELOK X1 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 101 x 196mm meaning you can lock more bikes in more places than other armoured u-locks.
Has LITELOK X1 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by independent testing bodies Sold Secure and ART. Both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Bicycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available) and ART4.
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.

What is LITELOK X1 made from?
LITELOK X1 is built with Barronium®, a patent-pending anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium™ anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X1 is sold with a 3 year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

Having not had anyone try to cut through the lock, it's main protective purpose is yet to be known ... and I hope its presence alone helps maintains this! That aside, it feels like a quality product, and the outer casing does a good job of protecting the bike's surfaces. I use it when out and about (lightweight and compact) and in conjunction with a chain/wall-mounted anchor when locking overnight. I point this out as I don't think that combining two locks - shown as 'security bundle' - would reach the anchor, so consider distances if you're thinking of doing this.

I've had D-Locks for bicycles in the past and this feels a lot more substantial than those.
I got this due to it's advertised resistance to grinder attacks. It's a chunky lock with a good bit of weight to it, I can't tell just from looking how much punishment this will stand and don't really want to find out because it means I will be looking for a new lock (cheaper than a new bike I guess). Fingers-crossed, its as good as the reviews and works as advertised (and hopefully a would be thief will take a look at the lock and decide it isn't worth the effort and move on).

Great product, feel a bit more at ease when leaving my bike unattended. Slight downfall is it's about 20mm to narrow to fit around the rear tyre on my vfr1200x, but works on the front wheel absolutely fine.
