Can X1 PLUS be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X1 PLUS is at least 5 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading D-lock as well as needing multiple discs to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X1 PLUS weigh?
LITELOK X1 PLUS weighs approximately 1.99kg (4.39lb).
What's the difference between X1 PLUS Bike and X1 PLUS Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X1 PLUS can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 PLUS and X3?
LITELOK X1 PLUS and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium® that each lock features. X3 uses a greater amount of Barronium® meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1 PLUS. X1 PLUS has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling d-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X1 PLUS?
LITELOK X1 PLUS has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 101 x 255mm meaning you can lock more bikes in more places than other d-locks.
Can I attach LITELOK X1 PLUS to my bike?
LITELOK X1 PLUS is compatible with our innovative X1 Tactical Mount for mounting the lock on your bike frame. The X1 Tactical Mount fits a wide variety of bikes and e-bikes ensuring your LITELOK X1 PLUS is held securely even the roughest of terrain.
The X1 Tactical Mount is sold separately.
Please note: The X1 PLUS used with an X1 tactical Mount will only be suitable for large frames.
Has LITELOK X1 PLUS been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by independent testing bodies Sold Secure and ART. Both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Bicycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available) and ART4.
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.
What is LITELOK X1 PLUS made from?
LITELOK X1 is built with Barronium®, our patented anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armor, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium® anti-angle grinder armor, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.

What is the warranty?
LITELOK X1 PLUS is sold with a 3 year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

This is my fourth Litelok product, I already have three X1s for various other bikes, but bought the X1 Plus so that I could ditch my 14mm chain, panniers to hold said chain and to be able to lock my front wheel (Royal Enfield Classic 350) thru the tyre to the motorcycle stand where I work.
I can also finally use it to properly lock the rear wheel on my Indian Chief DH, which was awkward with the X1.
My only gripe is that my order was placed 19/11/26 pretty much when the keyed alike option first launched, but it took nearly four months to fulfil my order.
I was kept informed once I started chasing my order.
Other than that, it’s a solid product. As always, could be wider.
Pros of having two of my locks keyed alike, is that I can use one key for two different bikes or take two locks for the same bike when I need to beef up on security.
Photos below show the rear with the X1 Plus and front with X1. I’m tempted to get the X1 Mini for the front.

La résistance anti-meuleuse, dans un format relativement compact, tout en permettant de s'accrocher dans la majorité des conditions ! Le X1 et X1-plus sont mes antivols préférés, de loin, et j'ai testé maintenant pas mal d'antivols de protection haute.
