Bought this mount immediately with my very first purchase ( the litelok x1). Easy to install on my center bar ( male bike), all in all perhaps 5mins of work to get it "up and running".
Since heavy duty locks like the litelok are a heavier than most, it's a great addition and one less worry to carry your lock with you everywhere you go!

I had a hard time finding the right spot to mount on my mid-step bike because of the twisting mechanism, but once found, it holds the lock tight.

Half price offer for this tactical mount when purchasing X1 was easily a no-brainer for me as I needed a holder to keep the lock with me. Mounting to the frame needed a bit of introduction and there are plenty of videos available online from Litelok, which were all very easy to understand the mechanism and follow the installation. The fit is very sturdy and stable, it attached to the frame without any issue and the whole process took less than 5 minutes. The way it was designed to lock the frame was very smooth, and the lock remains firmly attached to the mount even on bumpy rides. Strongly recommened!!

Had hard time fitting mount on top tube but worked out nicely on down tube. Easy to install and secure

First of all: I do really like the mount. The mechanism for attaching it to the bike works great, and it is very sturdy. The lock does not rattle, which I really appreciate.
My only problem: The mechanism for holding the lock in place damages the lock's coating. This is visible even after using it only a few times. Basically, the plastic pin that holds the lock in place scratches on the coating, and takes a bit of the coating off each time. I worry that over time, the coat will be worn away so much that the lock is not held in place as well as it is right now. I want to make it clear that I don't know whether this will happen. But I am worried, and I am also slightly irritated that the mount would scratch the lock's coat like this.

Great mount for the bike. It's a little hard to put on but very stable even on long 17+ mile rides as it doesn't swing around on you.

I had the old version of the mount previously, which only gripped the lock on the locking mechanism, so the U bend could freely move, which had led to a lot of rattling. This new version is fantastic, it firmly holds both the U and the locking part. So rattling, no moving, no distractions.
One to get used to is that you "lock" the lock into the mount. Takes a few times to remember not to close the lock before you've inserted it into the mount.
Only negative is that the way the mount is constructed, it essentially rips off the reflective strip on the lock after a few uses. Otherwise fantastic.
