Wheels and Waves 2025: Surf and Security

Exhibiting at Wheels and Waves in Biarritz 2025 was an absolute highlight. Not only because plenty of the LITELOK team love to surf, but because we got to meet an incredible community of motorcyclists who share the same passion for two wheels and adventure.

From putting our angle grinder resistant locks to the test in front of the crowds to swapping stories with riders from around the world, the event was packed with great conversations and genuine connections.

When you're soaking up the atmosphere at a festival, it's easy to forget about the less exciting stuff, like bike security. By showcasing our angle grinder-resistant locks through live demos, we helped keep security front of mind while proving exactly what the LITELOK X is built to withstand.

LITELOK Testing

We tested an angle grinder continuously on our strongest lock! the LITELOK X3. It offers at least 20 times more resistance than the best-selling D-locks without adding any extra weight. Over the course of five days, we put the very same LITELOK X3 through its paces time and time again. There were no studio edits, no controlled environments, and no second takes, just real-world testing performed live in front of hundreds of festival-goers. Every angle grinder demonstration showed exactly how the X3 stands up to one of the most common tools used by bike thieves, giving riders the chance to see its performance with their own eyes. It was an authentic, hands-on demonstration that proved why the X3 is trusted to protect motorcycles in the real world, not just in a lab.

Catching Up & Meeting New Riders

One of the best parts of Wheels and Waves is the people you meet along the way. We caught up with familiar faces, including George North and Sam from Baffle Haus South Wales, who stopped by the LITELOK stand to say hello. It was a funny reminder that, although we're all from Wales, it took a trip to France to bring us together! (Photo at the top.)

Alongside reconnecting with old friends, we also met plenty of new riders from across Europe, all brought together by a shared passion for motorcycles, adventure and great conversation.
