Can X1 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X1 is at least 5 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading U-lock as well as needing multiple discs to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X1 weigh?
LITELOK X1 weighs approximately 1.7kgs or 3.7lbs.
What's the difference between X1 Bike and X1 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X1 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 and X3?
LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium® that each lock features. X3 uses a higher amount of Barronium® meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1. X1 has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling U-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X1?
LITELOK X1 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 101 x 196mm meaning you can lock more bikes in more places than other armoured U-locks.
Can I attach LITELOK X1 to my bike?
LITELOK X1 is compatible with our innovative X1 Tactical mount for mounting the lock on your bike frame. The X1 Tactical Mount fits a wide variety of bikes and e-bikes ensuring your LITELOK X1 is held securely even the roughest of terrain.
X1 is also compatible with the Twist & Go mount.
Both of the X1 mounts are sold separately.
Has LITELOK X1 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by independent testing bodies Sold Secure and ART. Both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Bicycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available) and ART4.
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.

What is LITELOK X1 made from?
LITELOK X1 is built with Barronium®, a patent-pending anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium™ anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X1 is sold with a 3 year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

Having watched the "real world angle grinder test" I decided to rethink my locking strategy which had included the very credible Hiplock DX. I landed on the LITELOK X1 as this excelled in the test and on cost. As you can see from the video it allows me to lock my bike easily against a very solid bike stand - with the lock securing the rear stays and wheel to the post. I also use the LITELOK GO Flexi-U to keep the front of the bike secured (less for security - more for restricting movement). As you can also see from the images - they both fit nicely into my bag and I can also easily tell which key works with which lock due its length. I know any lock can be broken but I believe this is a good option and I have more peace of mind when leaving for an hour or so.

This bike lock is brilliant. After much research looking for a new D-Lock and watching videos online. I wasn't happy getting a mediocre lock anymore. Then I've seen that there are now finally Grinder Resistant Locks on the market and my search begins.
You can see many good videos showing you how good this Litelok x1 is at protecting your hard earned bike. No matter how expensive or cheap it is. It's yours and you should protect it. I normally do lots of upgrades on my bike and keep it in good condition. So hence this lock.
The X1 gives you total peace of mind and helps you feel confident that your bike will be safe. As long as you correctly use it. The videos show you just how strong this lock is. It isn't too heavy and it looks brilliant with the reflective styling. It comes with two keys and a lovely neoprene case. Much better quality than any lock I've purchased before. It feels quality and it works so well. The lock mechanism is protected from the rain with a silicone cover that's great. Works very well.
I've used this lock recently at Centre Parcs and some kids did mess with our bikes but then left. The lock would stand up to opportunists and a professional determined thief. I'm very impressed with it. I would totally recommend it too. For a good price it has a good balance of quality and practical usage for a brilliant price.
I will probably buy another eventually.

I'm very pleased with the lock, it obviously feels solid but in terms of weight is still portable. The locking mechanism is very smooth. I'm very happy that it's big enough to lock the frame and back wheel to a bike rack.

The lock Looks Solid and it's not heavier than my previous lock. No mounting device included. Hope it will protect my Bike well. The width is similat to a ABUS Granit but the length is three centimeters shorter (22,5 cm vs. 19,5 cm inner length). Also the locking mechanism looks pretty solid and secure.

This is a well made high quality lock for my E-Bike. It came quickly and well packaged with a nice neoprene sleeve to protect it. The rubberized coating on the lock helps prevent scratching on my bike as well as on the lock itself. Most importantly, it is a much stronger metal than competing brands and ten times more resistant to angle grinders. I feel more confident leaving my bike locked with the Litelok than with other locks that I’ve owned. If a thief wants to steal a bike they’re way more likely to choose a different one because of this lock’s superior protection.

First off, the lock feels very well made, feels good in the hand without being too heavy. The lock mechanism is smooth and the silicone covering over the keyhole helps keep out debris from the road. I use this for my daily commute, often this is in the dark mornings and evenings so the added feature of the lock being reflective is a real bonus. It also feels great to support a British business 👍🏻🇬🇧

Unfortunately literally three days within purchase my son's ebike was targeted (in broad daylight on a busy street parked directly across from his high school while he was taking a final exam). He came out to find his lock partially cut through (see attached photo) but still on. Horrible that it needs to be used at all but so glad we decided to pay more for such a high quality lock.

My fancy Road Bike was stolen out of my basement.
My new all purpose (instead of a second Car for the Family) E-Bike got Stolen 2 Times already, but with my Bosch Connect module and the alarm+SIMCard Tracking I managed to get it Back both Times. Now I was really Fed Up with all the locks beeing broken/cut/anglegrinded in Seconds and I upgraded to your Litelok X1. I truly hope now the criminals leave my bike alone!
