Had my old bicycle stolen with a U-lock from a popular company within seconds. After doing some research I ended up purchasing the X3 for my new ebike. Love this thing. Heavy duty and gives me piece of mind when locking it up outside. It also comes with a pouch I use before storing it in my pannier bag. Highly recommend and worth the investment in my opinion.

UK quality. Unpickable Abloy lock. You need a torch to cut this baby. Angle grinder takes too long. It’s heavy but comes with a wet suit material bag so it’s easy to strap down with bungie cords. I purchased 2. Great investment to secure my E-bikes.

Can X3 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X3 is at least 20 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading D-locks as well as needing multiple discs and batteries to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X3 weigh?
LITELOK X3 weighs approximately 2.1kgs or 4.6lbs.
What's the difference between X3 Bike and X3 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X3 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 and X3?
LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium® that each lock features.
X3 uses a greater amount of Barronium® meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1.
X1 has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling D-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
How do I carry LITELOK X3 on my bike?
If you'd like to carry LITELOK X3 on your bike, you'll need to purchase the X3 Tactical Mount - a tough mount for the world's toughest lock.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X3?
LITELOK X3 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 100 x 195mm.
Has LITELOK X3 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by Sold Secure and both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Pedal Cycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available). It has also been tested by ART, and certified ART4.
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.
What is LITELOK X3 made from?
LITELOK X3 is built with Barronium®, our patented anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armor, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium® anti-angle grinder armor, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.

What is the warranty?
LITELOK X3 is sold with a 7-year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

I bought a Kryptonite NY Diamond at first but it came with a chipped keyhole cover and the shackle had more slack than I’d like. Ended up returning it.
This lock definitely feels solid. The only reasons I didn’t give it full stars is, price increased recently and it’s already expensive and doesn’t come with a holder. The other reason is, the silicone like coating on the shackle is slowly rubbing off onto my handlebar. That’s how I carry the lock, also incase I have to defend myself it’s handy as a Baronium Knuckle. Just worried it will wear a hole in the coating.

I’ve been really impressed with the Litelok X3 so far. The build quality is excellent and it feels incredibly solid and secure in hand. I wanted a lock that would provide serious protection for my e-bike, and this gives me much more confidence when leaving it parked in public. The locking mechanism is smooth and easy to use, while still feeling extremely robust. It’s not the lightest lock out there, but that’s expected given the level of security it provides. Overall, it’s a premium product that feels worth the investment for protecting an expensive bike.

It took me a few tries to find the best position as I didn’t want to just have it locked to the wheel. By going through the caliper mount means it needs more effort to move the bike.

I got the touring package X1 and X3, and you can tell the difference, but they're both quality. I wanted a lock for the front and back, but unfortunately, they won't fit my rear wheel on my R1200GSA with Pilot 6s. I just use both locks on the front, as you can see in the pictures, hoping it'll deter the tea leaves. Litlok gave great service and excellent communication throughout.

The lock is well made and the protected rubber coating prevents my wheels from being scratched.
I use the lock through the front wheel and disk, this prevents the disc being cut. The key mechanism is great in that it keeps water out.
