UK quality. Unpickable Abloy lock. You need a torch to cut this baby. Angle grinder takes too long. It’s heavy but comes with a wet suit material bag so it’s easy to strap down with bungie cords. I purchased 2. Great investment to secure my E-bikes.

Can X3 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X3 is at least 20 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading D-locks as well as needing multiple discs and batteries to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X3 weigh?
LITELOK X3 weighs approximately 2.1kgs or 4.6lbs.
What's the difference between X3 Bike and X3 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X3 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 and X3?
LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium® that each lock features. X3 uses a greater amount of Barronium® meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1. X1 has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling D-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
How do I carry LITELOK X3 on my bike?
If you'd like to carry LITELOK X3 on your bike, you'll need to purchase the X3 Tactical Mount - a tough mount for the world's toughest lock.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X3?
LITELOK X3 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 100 x 195mm.
Has LITELOK X3 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by Sold Secure and both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Pedal Cycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available). It has also been tested by ART, and certified ART4.
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.

What is LITELOK X3 made from?
LITELOK X3 is built with Barronium®, a patent-pending anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium® anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X3 is sold with a 7-year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

Purchased for peace of mind, particularly when touring and leaving the bike in hotel car parks, or worse, in the street. Hopefully I will never need to test it but I (legitimately) use hand held cordless angle grinders for work and have seen first hand how they can easily cut through an apparently 'secure' padlock or chain.
I chose this lock for its greater resistance to attack, although nothing will give 100% protection. The relative light weight of the X3 also makes it suitable for touring where it is impractical to carry a huge lock and chain, the X1 more so but I wanted the extra security the X3 brings.
I pair the X3 with a loop chain just to secure it to something solid and stop anyone dragging my bike into a van. The chain would not stop a determined thief with a grinder but it all helps.
Wish we did not have to go to such lengths to protect our hard worked for possessions but here we are.

In general I'm satisfied that these are the strongest locks on the market. But I have a couple issues. Both locks are difficult to unlock at times. The key has to fit exactly in the correction position and it's difficult to know where that is in order to unlock them. I bought 2 and there's no way to know which key goes to which lock without trial and error. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, the shackles are barely long enough to go around the frame of my bike. I have a mountain bike with moderate width tires (2.6") and the frame with shocks on the front barely allows closure of the lock. There's not sufficient length to go around a pole or any thing like a bike rack.
