Nadia reached out to our team to share a troubling experience regarding an attempted theft of her £3500 KTM Duke 390 in Croydon. This alarming incident occurred in a private gated car park over the weekend, specifically between Friday at 9 PM and Monday at 3 PM. "I locked up my bike Friday evening in my car park, and when I came back to it Monday afternoon, I saw the cover was off. I immediately looked at the locks," she recounted.
Upon inspection, Nadia quickly realized that the would-be thieves had specifically targeted her LITELOK X3. Their intentions were clear as they attempted to start the bike; unfortunately, this resulted in damage to the ignition barrel and the fuel tank. It was evident that they had come prepared, trying to breach the various layers of security she had set in place.
"I locked up my bike Friday evening in my carpark and when I had come back to it Monday afternoon I saw the cover was off, I immediately looked at the locks and saw the X3 had been cut, no other lock looked damaged but they had tried to get it started as the ignition barrel and tank was also damaged"
