Can X1 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X1 is at least 5 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading U-lock as well as needing multiple discs to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X1 weigh?
LITELOK X1 weighs approximately 1.7kgs or 3.7lbs.
What's the difference between X1 Bike and X1 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X1 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 and X3?
LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium® that each lock features. X3 uses a higher amount of Barronium® meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1. X1 has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling U-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X1?
LITELOK X1 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 101 x 196mm meaning you can lock more bikes in more places than other armoured U-locks.
Can I attach LITELOK X1 to my bike?
LITELOK X1 is compatible with our innovative X1 Tactical mount for mounting the lock on your bike frame. The X1 Tactical Mount fits a wide variety of bikes and e-bikes ensuring your LITELOK X1 is held securely even the roughest of terrain.
X1 is also compatible with the Twist & Go mount.
Both of the X1 mounts are sold separately.
Has LITELOK X1 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by independent testing bodies Sold Secure and ART. Both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Bicycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available) and ART4.
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.

What is LITELOK X1 made from?
LITELOK X1 is built with Barronium®, a patent-pending anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium™ anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X1 is sold with a 3 year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

I constantly worry about leaving my e-bike but this lock has given me some peace of mind.

Bought a Litelok X1 to take with me on a cycle trip in Europe. I'm a bit paranoid about the possibility of theft in the first place and didn't want to end up marooned in some far off city. Having read reviews I figured the Litelok X1 would best meet my needs because of its combination of anti-grinder security and relatively (for this kind of lock) low weight. I got it with the tactical mount and it accompanied me throughout my trip. It fits snugly in the mount, no rattle, no problems and gave me massive reassurance whenever I did have to leave the bike, including overnight at times. I returned home with bike and lock intact - I massively recommend the Litelok X1. As an addition I'd say that staff at Litelok were very helpful in getting the lock to me in time for the trip, because my order was rather last minute.

Ich habe mittlerweile das 3te X1 gekauft, da es für mich der beste Kompromiss aus Gewicht und Sicherheit für ein Fahrrad ist. Das X3 wäre noch sicherer, ist mir aber zu schwer, selbst am E-Bike. Die Befestigungsmöglichkeit am Fahrrad mit dem beigelegten Halter, funktioniert nur wirklich gut im Rahmendreieck eines Diamant-Rahmens. Bei meinem E-Bike sitzt da aber die Batterie. Ich verpacke das Schloss während der Fahrt entweder in einer seitl. Radtasche, Hecktasche oder befestige es mit einem Klettband auf dem Heckgepäckträger, je nach Taschenkombination mit der ich gerade unterwegs bin.

It's sturdy, looks great, but above all, is easy to use.
With other products, my key gets stuck and doesn't engage / disengage the lock.
The Litelok X1 just works and fully protects my ebike where I live.

Having to feel stressed with choosing a bike lock is a sad reflection of today's world. However, it needed to be done. After many days of research, I decided to give it a try with X1 despite heavy price tag, and after weeks of use, I must say it is totally worth it. My bike frame is matt so I was worried the coated rubber material would leave marks or stain the frame as it was the case for my previous D/U-lock but X1 was not the case. It didn't leave a single mark. For it's price and materials used, it is definitely worth the price considering I will be using it for many years to come!
