How much does LITELOK X1 weigh?
LITELOK X1 weighs approximately 3.7lbs or 1.7kgs.
What is LITELOK X1's locking circumference?
LITELOK X1 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 101 x 196mm meaning you can lock more bikes in more places than other armoured u-locks.
Can I attach LITELOK X1 to my bike?
LITELOK X1 is sold with an innovative Twist & Go mount for mounting the lock on your bike frame. The universal quick-release Twist & Go mount fits any bike style and firmly holds X1 in place even on rough surfaces.
If you don’t want to use the Twist & Go mount, we have a lock holster solution. We’ve collaborated with Restrap, another great British brand, to create a Lock Holster, which is available as an optional extra for $19.99.
Has LITELOK X1 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by Sold Secure and both locks achieve Sold Secure Motorcycle and Bicycle Diamond levels.

What is LITELOK X1 made of?
LITELOK X1 is built with Barronium™, a patent-pending anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium™ layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium™ anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X1 is sold with a 3 year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

I think the reviews about the X1 speak for themselves and hope that sight of such a product is enough to dissuade any opportunist from trying to steal my bike. If someone does attempt to steal it then I hope it holds up as well as the videos on You Tube would you indicate. I had a bit of difficulty getting the shackle out of the padlock body at first and realised this was due to the protective coating on the shackle which just needed trimming back slightly. At this price point I also think the key and cylinder mechanism could be more upmarket but I’m satisfied it’s good enough for my application. My biggest disappointment was learning that there is no opportunity to buy locks which are keyed alike. Had there been I would probably have bought 2 Liteloks. Am I satisfied with my purchase? Yes, very much so. Especially as it’s Sold Secure Diamond rated but come on Litelok, you’ve got to offer a keyed alike service.

It also stores easily in a small pannier,

Most importantly, this seems to be a very serious lock, what else really matters.
My only concern with it was attaching the bike attachment to the bike. The twist and go feature is nice but fitting it to the frame of my electric bike was unnecessarily and unexpectedly complicated.
