LITELOK X1 is armoured with Barronium®, a patent pending composite material that resists angle grinder attack by turning the grinder's energy and force in on itself.
Barronium® is permanently fused to a hardened fine-grain high-tensile steel core which provides Motorcycle Diamond levels of protection against all other commonly used tools such as bolt croppers, cable cutters, long bars, hammers and chisels.
LITELOK X1 offers at least double the performance of the most heavy-duty chains yet weighs only 1.7kg and is easily carried in a rucksack, stored in your panniers or strapped to your rack. It also offers at least 5 times more angle grinder resistance than the best-selling, best-performing D-locks.

Can X1 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X1 is at least 5 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading U-lock as well as needing multiple discs to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X1 weigh?
LITELOK X1 weighs approximately 1.7kgs or 3.7lbs.
What's the difference between X1 Bike and X1 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X1 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 and X3?
LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium® that each lock features. X3 uses a higher amount of Barronium® meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1. X1 has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling U-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X1?
LITELOK X1 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 101 x 196mm meaning you can lock more bikes in more places than other armoured u-locks.
Has LITELOK X1 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by independent testing bodies Sold Secure and ART. Both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Bicycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available) and ART4.
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.

What is LITELOK X1 made from?
LITELOK X1 is built with Barronium®, a patent-pending anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium™ anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X1 is sold with a 3 year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

I promise you, left hand to god, right hand on the bible, nobody is breaking this lock. This mf is like Chuck Norris. I tested it against an angle grinder, and the angle grinder started crying. This thing is made from metals not listed on the periodic table. The people at LITELOK have access to undiscovered metals and they're using them to build this mf. Mfs enchanted this lock with unbreaking 20, mending 10, and thorns 5. Thing's more unbreakable then a pretty girls ego. If you don't buy this thing I swear on my momma you wont find anything better.

I wrestled for some time, as to wether the investment would be worth it. I do have other good locks, but the Litelok is clearly heads and shoulders above, in terms of angle grinder resistance. I try to not leave my bikes locked in public, but when I do, the appeal of knowing it's far more likely to still be there when I get back, if a Litelok is wrapped around it, is what swayed me. When I leave my bike, I am now more relaxed as I've a lot of confidence in the lock, it's feels so solid and strong. It is "Peace of mind", that swayed me in the end. I'm a cyclist but don't like mounting locks to the bike, usually opting to carry in my rucksack or pannier, so the neoprene cover was best.

Overall appearance shows product to be of rugged construction well engineered and suitable for purpose especially after reading reviews and FB groups.
If it acts just as a deterrent I’ll be happy.
If they want it badly and there determined there take it regardless and if there fully set up there have it off.
I have purchase a second lock to compliment the first.
