Can X1 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X1 is at least 5 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading U-lock as well as needing multiple discs to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X1 weigh?
LITELOK X1 weighs approximately 1.7kgs or 3.7lbs.
What's the difference between X1 Bike and X1 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X1 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 and X3?
LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium® that each lock features. X3 uses a higher amount of Barronium® meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1. X1 has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling U-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X1?
LITELOK X1 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 101 x 196mm meaning you can lock more bikes in more places than other armoured U-locks.
Can I attach LITELOK X1 to my bike?
LITELOK X1 is compatible with our innovative X1 Tactical mount for mounting the lock on your bike frame. The X1 Tactical Mount fits a wide variety of bikes and e-bikes ensuring your LITELOK X1 is held securely even the roughest of terrain.
X1 is also compatible with the Twist & Go mount.
Both of the X1 mounts are sold separately.
Has LITELOK X1 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by independent testing bodies Sold Secure and ART. Both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Bicycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available) and ART4.
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.

What is LITELOK X1 made from?
LITELOK X1 is built with Barronium®, a patent-pending anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium™ anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X1 is sold with a 3 year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

Długo szukałem zabezpieczenia roweru które zabezpieczy mój wymarzony e-mtb. Nareszcie udało mi się znaleźć zabezpieczenie które nie podda się łatwo akumulatorowej szlifierce kątowej, dzięki temu zabezpieczeniu czuję się odrobinę bezpieczniej zostawiając rower przypięty przed sklepem. Ich habe das Litelok X1 für mein E-Bike gekauft, da ich etwas brauchte, das mein Fahrrad auch während der Nachtschicht vor der Klinik, in der ich arbeite, sicher hält. Für den Preis von knapp 180€ ist es das günstigste Schloss in seiner Kategorie und es wirkt extrem stabil. Mir ist es schon das ein oder andere Mal heruntergeladen, aber es sieht noch aus wie neu, nur etwas dreckig. Der Schließmechanismus funktioniert einfach ohne Probleme. Mein einziges Manko an diesem Schloss ist, dass es an einigen Fahrradständern zu kurz ist, um Sowohl Rahmen als auch das hintere Rad zu sichern. Ich denke dahingehend ist das X1 Plus besser, wobei dann der Preis auch wieder ein anderer ist... Da ich ein sekundäres Schloss verwende, um die Räder am Rahmen zu sichern, reicht es mir aber mit dem X1 "nur" den Rahmen zu sichern.

Lock is solid, nice touch to have the keyhole covered. Hopefully it will never be tested but I do have faith in it, especially when the bike has value, madness to think my last lock was a tenner!! This is a serious upgrade and It looks great. A fair few people at work have had a look and been very impressed!

Bought this a few weeks ago to secure my e-bike and honestly it's better than I expected. It's noticeably lighter than it has any right to be given how solid it feels, and it's straightforward to use once you get the hang of the angle. This lock is the perfect amount of security for my use case. I work at a college campus and must lock my bike outside. It fits around the wheel and frame of my standard hybrid bike when locking to most posts, as long as the post isn't really thick. It will fit around the frame of my folding bike, but cannot lock the frame and wheel at the same time due to the length, so for that, I usually fold my bike in on itself before locking (no photo because it's as one would expect). Sometimes I just use it to lock the front wheel when I'm really in a rush in the mornings and use a lock from another brand that's long enough to go through the back wheel + frame (see photo). But I really like this lock, and it's held up for the past seven or eight months, as shown by the video. Kinda heavy when compared with a second lock, but that's fine given the context.
