My Litelok X3 does a great job of securing my bike, so I can rest assured it’s still there where I left it. It is heavy though, so I’ve been looking for a solution. I’ve tried pannier bags and there were too unwieldy. The tactical mount piqued my interest, but I was worried it wouldn’t fit on my odd shaped frame (Trek Marlin+ 8). I needn’t have worried, it fits perfectly in the small space in the frame. It was super easy to fit and the rubber strip helped bed the mount to the frame nicely.

Bought the tactical mount for my Litelok X3 when it went on sale ($14.99 USD + $9.99 USD shipping). Shipping was extremely quick (two days to get to the U.S.). Setup is a bit tricky (takes 2 people to secure the mount properly) but have had no issues. Happy to no longer have to carry the X3 in my backpack!

A well-designed sturdy bike mount that, once mounted to the frame, provides a novel and easy way of carrying the Litelok under the top tube

This mount is incredibly easy to install but the shape of my bike frame gave my issue. Nothing to do with the mount itself. After some brainstorming I found my position and here it is. You can’t go wrong with this mount. It’s been joy not riding with X3 in my backpack. Do yourself a favor and get the mount. You won’t regret it.

First I tried to instal it the way it's shown on the horizontal tube, but because of bottle mounting screws I couldn't, so I installed it on the seat tube, and it's perfect for me !

This is a sturdy mount for the litelok x3. A bit large but it has to be given the bulk of the litelok x3.
