On the evening of June 26, 2025, around 8:30 PM, two high-value Brompton G Line bikes—each worth approximately £2500—were securely locked together to a council bike rack on Half Moon Lane, Dulwich. In addition to being secured with a LITELOK CORE PLUS, Ze had also equipped the bikes with a Knog Scout, a combination AirTag and bike alarm.
While the bikes were out of sight as the owners enjoyed dinner nearby, something all-too-common in urban settings unfolded.
“While at dinner, just out of sight of the bikes, the malefactor attempted to cut through the lock with an angle grinder. People saw it happening, called the police, who attended and left us a note.”

“A bystander told us afterwards they've seen him successfully steal two bikes from the same spot, (so I feel particularly grateful to the combination of the LiteLok that bought the bystander enough time to call the police."
