Can X3 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X3 is at least 20 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading d-lock as well as needing multiple discs and batteries to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X3 weigh?
LITELOK X3 weighs approximately 2.1kgs or 4.6lbs.
What's the difference between X3 Bike and X3 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X3 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 and X3?
LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium™ that each lock features. X3 uses a higher amount of Barronium™ meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1. X1 has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling d-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X3?
LITELOK X1 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 100 x 195mm.
Has LITELOK X3 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by Sold Secure and both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Pedal Cycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available). It has also been tested by ART, and certified ART4.
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.

Our founder and CEO, Professor Neil Barron, supported by Innovate UK, worked closely with some of the world’s leading material scientists for over 5 years to develop Barronium™, our ground breaking angle grinder resistant technology.
What is LITELOK X3 made from?
LITELOK X3 is built with Barronium™, a patent-pending anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium™ layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium™ anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X3 is sold with a 7-year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

Bought 2 x LITELOK for my BM. And coupled with a tracker and a factory fitted alarm. The likteloks complete the security of my expensive motorcycle. Good product. Bought two X3s. 1 worked perfectly, but the other lock doesn't open sometimes unless you play with it. Customer service send me a return label and will fix or replace the lock. Will give an update after I receive a new lock. Otherwise an excellent lock with what I think is the most secure lock you can get. Worth the price vs having to replace the cost for a new bike.

Just bought two X3s for my motorbike. Untested so far in a theft situation, but I can tell these are serious lumps of metal. One on each wheel, plus a chain and an Easy-block - that will be my default security. I love the build quality of the X3, the travel pouch and the key - all feel premium and unique. The X3 is also very portable so you get a lot of security for the weight. Only grumble is that I didn't ask for both to be on the same key - but wasn't an option either so not sure if it can be done.

If your standard for an ultimate security bike lock is something like the highly-regarded, top of the line Kryptonite New York Lock, please take a look at the two attached photos.
The Litelok X3 (on the left in both photos) is clearly more heavy duty than the Kryptonite New York Standard Lock (on the right).
Other differences: the key action on the X3 is more precise and the rubber shielding is more robust. The keys are also thicker/heavier duty than any other bicycle lock key I’ve ever seen.
The lock action on the X3 is as solid as solid can be.
If I were a bike thief, the X3 lock would appear more intimidating than the New York Lock.
The internal dimensions between the X3 and the Kryptonite New York Standard Lock are exactly the same, which is good since the New York Standard Lock is widely regarded as the best form factor for daily use that balances versatility and security. Kudos to Litelok for duplicating this ideal form factor.
Of course the above are all important but secondary factors beyond the critically important factor that the X3 is angle grinder resistant whereas a top of the line Kryptonite New York (or Abus) lock is not.

We received three keys with each of the two X3 locks we purchased. We only expected two keys so this was a pleasant surprise.
Litelok says that the X3 ships in around 30 days. We received ours less than a week after we placed the order—we’re on the U.S. east coast. Shipment was via DHL…

My partner and I bought two E-bikes this spring and got the X3 bundle to protect our investments. The interior dimensions allow me to hook through the back wheel and frame to most bike racks. We compared it to the Hiplock — the LITELOK was bigger and the locking component didn't jiggle around like the Hiplock did. They are pretty expensive, but using this lock on the frame and back wheel and my Krypontite on the front wheel hopefully will make thieves take a pass on my bike and go for one that takes less effort to steal.
