LITELOK X1 is armoured with Barronium®, a patent pending composite material that resists angle grinder attack by turning the grinder's energy and force in on itself. It offers at least 5 times more resistance than the best-selling D-locks without adding any extra weight. It is permanently fused to a hardened fine-grain high-tensile steel core which provides protection against all other commonly used tools such as bolt croppers, cable cutters, long bars, hammers and chisels.
It is the only full-sized armoured D-lock on the market and contains a host of clever design features that make it easy to use and carry so you can keep your bike secure against the most determined bike thieves.

X1 features a high-quality lock cylinder which is durable and pick-resistant. The keyhole is protected from dirt, dust and moisture with our innovative self-sealing silicone keyhole cover.
Reflective Strips

Can X1 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X1 is at least 5 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading U-lock as well as needing multiple discs to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X1 weigh?
LITELOK X1 weighs approximately 1.7kgs or 3.7lbs.
What's the difference between X1 Bike and X1 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X1 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 and X3?
LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium® that each lock features. X3 uses a higher amount of Barronium® meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1. X1 has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling U-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X1?
LITELOK X1 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 101 x 196mm meaning you can lock more bikes in more places than other armoured U-locks.
Can I attach LITELOK X1 to my bike?
LITELOK X1 is sold with an innovative Twist & Go mount for mounting the lock on your bike frame. The universal quick-release Twist & Go mount fits any bike style and firmly holds X1 in place even on rough surfaces for rattle-free riding.
If you don’t want to use the Twist & Go mount, we have a lock holster solution. We’ve collaborated with Restrap, another great British brand, to create a Lock Holster, which is available as an optional extra for $17.99.
Has LITELOK X1 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by independent testing bodies Sold Secure and ART. Both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Bicycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available) and ART4.
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.

What is LITELOK X1 made from?

The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks

What is the warranty?
LITELOK X1 is sold with a 3 year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

I think this is a beautifuly engineered lock.
It's sheer robustness I think would make anyone think twice about trying to tackle it. Videos I watched before purchasing convinced me to buy it. The only problem is the key doesn't sometimes slip in as easily as I would like. It takes a bit of faffing. But that's OK as I totally trust this lock.

An excellent lock which gives confidence that your expensive bike is secure. The coating around the lock is very kind too and it doesn’t scratch or damage the bike in any way 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 The reflective strips around the lock unfortunately peel off though 🤔 but this doesn’t affect anything except the aesthetics.

... the fluorescent strips almost immediately came off the 'D' section. Other than, that, no complaints ... I wanted a top (diamond) rated lock for peace of mind (my insurance requires a gold or diamond rating). And I thought the higher rating might act as more of a deterrent ... The size seems about right to me - neither too large nor too small (and I was expecting it would have some weight to it); also, the fluorescent section (with the logo) on the locking bar seems robust ... so, losing the fluorescent strips is really no big deal (but might be better just to do without them altogether than have the annoyance of them pretty much immediately flaking off). I did a fair bit of research - and it appears to be a solid lock and well worth having ... It just lost a star on account of the loss of the fluorescent strips ....

Purchased my second Litelok X1, 8 months after my first. During that time it's been hassle free, and my fear about the mount being troublesome over time has been totally allayed.
This time I got free next day delivery, so someone may have been listening to me when I said "get rid of EVRI" and the lock appeared within the 2 hour slot that DHL promised.
So why "Almost perfect"? Well I would still like 3 keys, please.

I think the lock is exactly as described. I happen to really like the white stripe design but unfortunately this is a sticker and within 3 days both sides of that peeled off. It does not affect functionality.
