LITELOK X1 is armoured with Barronium®, a patent pending composite material that resists angle grinder attack by turning the grinder's energy and force in on itself. It offers at least 5 times more resistance than the best-selling D-locks without adding any extra weight. It is permanently fused to a hardened fine-grain high-tensile steel core which provides protection against all other commonly used tools such as bolt croppers, cable cutters, long bars, hammers and chisels.
It is the only full-sized armoured D-lock on the market and contains a host of clever design features that make it easy to use and carry so you can keep your bike secure against the most determined bike thieves.

Lock Cylinder
X1 features a high-quality lock cylinder which is durable and pick-resistant. The keyhole is protected from dirt, dust and moisture with our innovative self-sealing silicone keyhole cover.
Reflective Strips

Can X1 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X1 is at least 5 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading U-lock as well as needing multiple discs to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X1 weigh?
LITELOK X1 weighs approximately 1.7kgs or 3.7lbs.
What's the difference between X1 Bike and X1 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X1 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 and X3?
LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium® that each lock features. X3 uses a higher amount of Barronium® meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1. X1 has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling U-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X1?
LITELOK X1 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 101 x 196mm meaning you can lock more bikes in more places than other armoured U-locks.
Can I attach LITELOK X1 to my bike?
LITELOK X1 is sold with an innovative Twist & Go mount for mounting the lock on your bike frame. The universal quick-release Twist & Go mount fits any bike style and firmly holds X1 in place even on rough surfaces for rattle-free riding.
If you don’t want to use the Twist & Go mount, we have a lock holster solution. We’ve collaborated with Restrap, another great British brand, to create a Lock Holster, which is available as an optional extra for $17.99.
Has LITELOK X1 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by independent testing bodies Sold Secure and ART. Both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Bicycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available) and ART4.
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.

What is LITELOK X1 made from?
LITELOK X1 is built with Barronium®, a patent-pending anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium™ anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X1 is sold with a 3 year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

I bought the X1 for my new baby, a carbon fiber Specialized Roubaix. The lock gives me peace of mind, because while I enjoy long rides where my bike stays with me, I also like to be able to commute and lock my bike up around the city. Three of my bikes have been stolen over the decades, so I know the importance of thwarting thieves to the extent possible. This lock is heavy compared to my previous locks. It's too heavy to attach to my bike frame, and I'd rather not carry it. But I'm willing to, and I am grateful to have the option of a lock that can resist angle grinders.

An excellent lock that I trust!!! The only An excellent lock that I trust!!! The only shortcoming is that it is very heavy and the holder for the bike is wobbly, so I have to carry it in my rucksack. It's also quite small, which means I can't attach the bike to a tree in the forest or the frame together with the front wheel... apart from that, an easy to use and fantastic lock!!!!!

As soon as I unpacked it, it was obvious that this was a quality product. It has clearly been manufactured to a very high standard. Locking and unlocking is easy and I like the small lock seal to keep the rain out and the rubber like covering which protects my paintwork. As I am pleased to say that no one has attempted to cut through the lock, I can’t personally vouch for angle grinding resistance. However i did a lot of research (YouTube etc) before buying and am confident this was money well spent to protect my new bike.

Seems like a great sturdy lock, thankfully nobody has tried to cut it off yet, but I'm sure it's very secure, it would be nice to see a litelok disc lock too for easier carrying.
