LITELOK X3 is armoured with Barronium®, a patent pending composite material that resists angle grinder attack by turning the grinder's energy and force in on itself. It offers at least 15 times more resistance than the best-selling D-locks without adding any extra weight. It is permanently fused to a hardened fine-grain high-tensile steel core which provides protection against all other commonly used tools such as bolt croppers, cable cutters, long bars, hammers & chisels and -40°C freeze spray.
LITELOK X3 offers at least six time the security performance of the most heavy-duty chains yet weighs only 2.1kg and is easily carried in a rucksack, stored in your panniers or strapped to your rack.
LITELOK X3 is also equipped with an ABLOY® SENTRY lock cylinder; the most pick-proof locking mechanism available and the only example fitted to a motorcycle lock.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can X3 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X3 is at least 20 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading d-lock as well as needing multiple discs and batteries to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X3 weigh?
LITELOK X3 weighs approximately 2.1kgs or 4.6lbs.
What's the difference between X3 Bike and X3 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X3 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 and X3?
LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium® that each lock features. X3 uses a greater amount of Barronium® meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1. X1 has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling d-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X3?
LITELOK X3 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 100 x 195mm.
Has LITELOK X3 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by Sold Secure and both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Pedal Cycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available). It has also been tested by ART, and certified ART4.
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.

What is LITELOK X3 made from?
LITELOK X3 is built with Barronium®, a patent-pending anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium® anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X3 is sold with a 7-year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

I've bought this lock to protect my BMW R1250GSA. Most I've ever spent on a lock but it's the fraction of the cost of my bike and the lock should last me a lifetime unless it's attacked and if it is then at least I know I've tried my best to prevent my bike from going walkies. We live in a world full of opportunists who want what isn't theirs so hopefully this is one of the best detergents I can have. This lock fits through the front wheel hub on my bike and with a bit of wiggling does fit over the front tyre and rim, in either of these configurations there is room to fit a chain etc to secure the bike to a ground anchor. Lock comes with a storage bag so it won't rattle round in a back box but it would also be nice to have a bracket you could potentially fit it somewhere to your bike.
I'm really happy with the lock, operates easily and is of high quality. I feel better that this is helping too secure my bike....... Something that does make me laugh though is the fact that such a highly rated lock only reduced my insurance by about £2:50p for the year..... Insurance companies need to get on board more with quality security products.
